Microsoft Office Issues

In certain instances, issues can arise with Office applications and Prolaw. For example, when a user gets a new computer, the installed Word and Outlook applications may be of a more recent version that is not supported by the Prolaw. In this instance the unsupported version of the Word and Outlook on that machine will need to be reverted to a version compatible with Prolaw 2015.1 (See compatibly matrices at the end of the document.) If a supported version is being used, reinstalling Office can sometimes resolve the issue: Uninstall 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. In Windows 10, right-click Start, and choose Control Panel or search for “control panel” with Cortana. 3. Choose Programs > Programs and Features. 4. Choose the Office application you want to uninstall, and choose Uninstall.

Repair 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. In Windows 10, right-click Start, and choose Control Panel or search for “control panel” with Cortana. 3. Choose Programs > Programs and Features. 4. Select the Office (or Outlook, if using standalone Outlook) 5. Click the Change or Repair button
